December 17th, 2007 – The 2008 Calendar Girls were invited to RTE Podge & Rodge Show to meet the handsome devils and to help out with a very special audience competition. Winner gets a Rimmel London treasure chest!

November 24th, 2007 – Club M Dublin hosted the first ever final. The 2008 Calendar Girls posed for pictures by Trevor Cadwell and press. Then the girls were interviewed on stage alongside their best pictures on the big screen. Makeup and audience goodie bags courtesy of Rimmel London. Also there was the TV3 crew to conclude filming of the 'Diary of a beauty queen' episode.

November 11th, 2007 – Saw the 2008 Calendar Girls make their first public debut ever! An official visit to Ireland's biggest lifestyle show Toys 4 Big Boys to feature on stage, pose for pictures with public and at key show features. The public loved the girls making it a whirlwind success for the girls who received phenomenal attention and droves of followers.

November 11th, 2007 - Our first ever photo-shoot, shot by none other than Lili Forberg supported by Rimmel London. Also present TV3 production crew filming 'Diary of a beauty queen'. This was the first ever gathering of Divas who had all won a place in the 2008 Calendar through a series of online polls conducted over 10 months prior on the Bebo network.
